“The dedicated ever enjoy supreme peace; therefore, live only to serve.” This famous quote from Sri Gurudev holds the key to true joy. All of his teachings are based on this key. He says that the motto of the entire nature is selflessness. The sun shines without any expectation; trees give their fruits without any expectation, flowers bloom without looking for a reward. We are also part of the nature. In fact, we all are created to serve others, not to serve ourselves.
Sri Gurudev teaches that if we want eternal peace, we should renounce our “I, me, mine” and live for the sake of others. Rather than asking, “What can I gain?”, our entire life should be a dedication. Eat to have enough strength to serve others. Rest so we can get up fresh and serve others. For a person like that who leads a life of selfless service, peace is always guaranteed. In this lecture, Sri Gurudev presents his essential teachings on selfless living through plain language and simple examples that everyone can understand. This program offers the ultimate formula for living a healthy, happy, fulfilling life.
